Post Marathon Update…

Yesterday I completed the Leeds Half Marathon which I entered before committing to the 100 Miles in May but knowing that it would also count towards my total miles! I’m now up to 53 miles and we’re not half way through the month yet so things are looking good - although I’ll definitely need a couple of rest days now! Thank you for you ongoing support x

Run Update!

Only 1 week to go until the Leeds half marathon and 5 day into my 100 miles in May challenge for GOSH!

Today I’ve completed my last ‘long’ run before the marathon and managed to do my longest yet at 10.8 miles!

My total miles for May are now at 28.23!

Chipping away at the miles one step at a time!

You can still sponsor me if you wish through this page.

Thank you!

Day 1

Day one of my challenge and I’ve completed 6.5 miles! Only 93.5 to go 🤔

Nearly time to start running!

So tomorrow I will be starting my little ‘100 miles in May’ challenge - running at least 100 miles across 31 days. You can track my progress and maybe make a small donation too to this great children’s charity. Thank you!

Training….

I’ve just completed a 10 mile run as part of my training! I’m hoping to do quite a few long runs to chip away the 100!

Doing something for me and the kids!

I’m new to running and all of my running goals so far have been for myself. Now I want to use what I’ve learnt to make a difference to others.

I don’t believe that any child should ever have to suffer and if we can all do a little bit to make a difference then it can’t be a bad thing!

I promise that I will run at least 100 miles in May and part of this will be by doing the Leeds Half Marathon!

Please show your support for me and this fantastic charity in whatever way you can.

Thank you

I’m running 100 miles in May for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to run 100 miles in May to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.

And with every mile I run, I’ll be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
