Yoga on the beach
Yoga on the beach
So I’ve not been great at jeeping up with this, but I have been doing my yoga. I am in Pendine for the weekend so today I did Yoga on the beach. It was very windy but so peaceful. There were other people there but not many, so I pretended I was alone, inhaled the salty freshness of the sea and did my yoga. It was great might have to so it again tomorrow.Days 8 and 9
The benefit I am getting from doing 20-40 mins of Yoga a day is incredible. I feel so in my body and mind right now. Saturday I did lower back Yoga to keep forever working on my lower back. Today it was the turn of Yoga for mobility, keeping every bit of me only mildly stretched during Yoga adds extra difficulty as all my joints hyperflex. Tomorrow is going to be hip yoga.Day 6&7
Last night I did bedtime yoga to help with sleep etc. had a great nights sleep not sure if it was entirely due to the yoga. Today I have done morning routine yoga. Hoping it gives me an energy boost to get through the day.Day 5
Yesterday I concentrated on lower back Yoga and the flexibility of my lower back. Today I have focused on emotional yoga and opening up the heart. I am loving doing yoga every day again.Day 3
Today was upper back yoga day, tine to stretch out the upper back as days 1 and 2 were focused on lower back. I have discovered over the years that mixing up what you are doing helps all over body, so I will be doing at least 4 different focused areas or emotions a week and repeating after that. Loving doing Yoga daily again, I hope this will help build that healthy habit again.Day 2
Wow thank you all so much for your wonderful donations. So far so good, done 2 days of yoga. The dog seems quite concerned about me, but I am loving it :)I’m doing 20 minutes of yoga every day of July for GOSH Charity!
I’m challenging myself to practise 20 minutes of yoga every day this July to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).
Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.
And with every day I complete yoga, I’ll be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.
This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
