100 Miles in May!

I am going to be attempt to run 100 miles each in May for GOSH. This charity is extremely close to our heart, with our close friends little girl being looked after by them a few years ago and still for check ups etc.

Gabriella had a Wilms tumour (nephroblastoma) in her kidney that required extensive chemotherapy and surgical care. She is still under GOSH. Only 80 children in the UK are diagnosed with this type of cancer, and GOSH were able to diagnose and start treating Gabriella in the space of days. Their care is second to none. The play therapists were able to build her confidence and teach her what was going on with her treatment, the psychologists were able to help Gabi deal with her emotions as well as ours, and the medical team are fabulous in treating her with compassion and understanding too. Paolo and Chev were able to rely on their expertise and guidance in a time where they were lost and helpless.

If our beautiful Gabbie can get through what she has and her amazing, brave and strong mum and dad, then I can definitely attempt this hard challenge. Having not run properly for over two years now this is probably going to be hard for me but I will try my best to complete the challenge.
