Terms and Conditions

50 Push-ups a Day in November 2026 Terms and Conditions 

By participating in 50 Push-ups a Day in November (the “Event”) in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, registered charity number 1160024 (“GOSH Charity”), you are deemed to have agreed to the following Terms and Conditions. 

Registration and participation 

  • You are registering for and taking part in the Event of your own volition and confirm that your general state of health and fitness is suitable for participation. Any injury sustained by you which, after investigation, is deemed to be no fault of GOSH Charity will be your own responsibility. 
  • Children under 16 years of age at the start of the Event, 1 November 2026, must be registered by a parent or guardian and accompanied by a responsible adult during their participation in their chosen activity for the Event. 
  • By participating in the Event, you confirm that you will comply with all applicable laws and government guidance in force at the time and will ensure that any children and guests supporting you do the same. 
  • If you begin registration but do not complete it, your progress may be saved and you may receive reminders to complete your registration. 

Sponsorship money 

  • All funds raised for GOSH Charity through your fundraising for the Event must be received through your Funraisin fundraising page. 
  • If costs change, additional funds are received, or the needs of the hospital or its patients change, GOSH Charity reserves the right to use funds where they are most urgently needed. 
  • If you are unable to take part in the Event for any reason, please let GOSH Charity know as soon as possible. If you have already received sponsorship donations, the following will apply: 
  • if a sponsor has given you cash and asks for a refund, you are responsible for returning that money directly to them; 
  • if a cash sponsor agrees that their donation can still be given to GOSH Charity, you should retain a record of their agreement and arrange for the donation to be paid to GOSH Charity; and 
  • if a donation has been made online or has already been paid to GOSH Charity and a sponsor requests a refund, they should contact GOSH Charity directly. Otherwise, the donation will remain with GOSH Charity. 

T-shirt and fulfilment 

  • The T-shirt is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. 
  • GOSH Charity reserves the right to replace the T-shirt with an alternative of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary. 
  • GOSH Charity reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend or amend the T-shirt promotion where it becomes necessary to do so. 
  • Individual participants who request a T-shirt by submitting the registration form at https://fundraise.gosh.org/register/50-push-ups-november-2026 by midnight (GMT, UK) on 3 November 2026 will be sent the requested item by second class post to the Valid Postal Address (which means a residential postal address in the United Kingdom, which includes a valid postcode) provided during registration, unless GOSH Charity is updated otherwise with an alternative Valid Postal Address. 
  • T-shirts will be sent by second class post during October and November 2026 to the Valid Postal Address provided during registration, unless GOSH Charity is updated otherwise with an alternative Valid Postal Address. 
  • GOSH Charity accepts no responsibility for T-shirts that are lost, damaged or delayed in the post and will only send a replacement if one is available. 

Liability 

  • Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where such liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. 

Data protection and these Terms and Conditions 

  • To register for the Event and for the purposes of the T-shirt promotion, you will be asked to provide personal information through the registration platform. GOSH Charity will treat your personal details with care and process your information in line with its privacy policy: GOSH Charity Privacy Policy. Personal data supplied for the T-shirt promotion may be passed to third-party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment, delivery and arrangement. More information is available in the GOSH Charity privacy policy or by contacting the Data Protection Officer at dataprotection@gosh.org. 
  • Entrance to the Event is via the Funraisin platform. Funraisin is an independent company from GOSH Charity. By creating a Funraisin account, you agree to Funraisin’s applicable terms and privacy information. Information provided through the registration form is processed using Funraisin on behalf of GOSH Charity for the purpose of administering your participation, including incomplete-registration reminders. Funraisin Privacy Policy 
  • By providing your details through the Funraisin registration platform, GOSH Charity may contact you by email, SMS, telephone and/or post about your fundraising and participation in the Event. For other marketing purposes, GOSH Charity may contact you by email, SMS or phone only where it has your permission to do so, and may contact you by post about its work and fundraising based on its legitimate interests. 
  • Should you choose to connect your Funraisin account with another third-party website and/or device, you do so at your own risk. GOSH Charity is not responsible for data you provide to that third party or for any separate terms and conditions you may be asked to accept. 
  • GOSH Charity will never sell or swap your personal details with other organisations for their marketing purposes. You can change your communication preferences at any time by contacting GOSH Charity at 40 Bernard Street, London, WC1N 1LE, by telephone on 020 3841 3131 or by email at supportercare@gosh.org. 
  • GOSH Charity reserves the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions from time to time and may amend advertised dates if necessary. 
  • GOSH Charity accepts no responsibility for errors caused by a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, network failure or server failure of any kind. 
  • If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other terms and conditions on this website, or on another third-party website associated with or linked from it, these Terms and Conditions will prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law. 

Disputes and claims 

  • These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
