My Story

In 2017, my younger sister Amy was born. Honestly, it was the most exciting thing ever for me and my brother to have a younger sister, and I remember going to visit her in the hospital the day she was born after having to stay with my grandparents. However, Amy was born with some heart problems that required surgery when she was just over a month old, and then a further open-heart surgery in 2018.  She is now happy and healthy, and this is all thanks to the incredible work of Great Ormond Street Hospital, who do incredible work to support ill children and their families. With your donation, they can continue to do vital work that ensures poorly children can have the best lives possible, just like Amy.

I’m stepping up for seriously ill kids

I'll be climbing 36 floors and 896 steps up London's iconic Walkie Talkie building on Saturday 28 March 2026 to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

No childhood should be cut short by cancer.

Research and treatments have dramatically improved survival, but cancer is still the biggest killer of children aged one to 14 in the UK.

GOSH needs a new home for breakthrough treatments, so we can save more children’s lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden and so much more.
