A Big Thank you!
A Massive thank you to all the staff, pupils, friends and families who supported or donated to our school fundraising challenge. We have smashed our target and raised a whopping £593 for Great Ormond Street Charity!Mr Renier putting in a weekend effort
Mr Renier is our Humber class offsite teacher. He teaches the pupils that are too unwell to attend our classrooms onsite. Here he is completing his 100 push ups from the gym this weekend. Way to go Mr Renier!Thomas
One of our pupils is expecting to go to Great Ormond Street very soon for surgery. Thomas has been accessing classroom learning via our AV1 robot currently. We are incredible proud of you Thomas. You have shown incredible Strength either in the classrooms, at home, or up at Hull Royal. We are Hospital Education in Hull!
Mrs Troake, Lucas, Rhianna, Ruby and Miss Offen did a joint team effort whilst we we Teams called Thomas. Thomas is due to have his operation at GOSH very soon and so he counted and made sure we were doing the job properly!Still going strong! Mrs PAwson and Mrs Ledgard with an after school effort!
Mrs Pawson and Mrs Ledgard support and tutor up on the children's ward at Hull Royal Infirmary. They support some of our most poorly children and make up a very special part of our team. A great effort here ladies. We know that you have done so much work with the pupils that have been to Great Ormond Street short or long term.Miss Offen
Miss Offen our lifecoach is attempting full push ups!Wilberforce Class
Wilberforce Class are getting involved with the challenge! Its great to see pupils with complex health needs developing their own characters and helping other poorly children and their families.Mrs Blake
Mrs Blake is taking part in the challenge and was demonstrating her fantastic arm strength in the SLT office.Mr Renier is putting us to shame!
Mr Renier is getting stuck in to the whole school challenge and has chosen a full push up and made a donation! Remember that its 100 push ups a day Mr Renier, don't be falling short! The Sullivan Centre are doing 100 push-ups a day in November for GOSH Charity!
As our termly whole school challenge we are going to do 100 push-ups a day this November to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).
Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.
This is a charity close to our hearts as one of our pupils will be receiving care at GOSH soon and we wanted to show our support to him and his family.
And with every push-up we do as a school team, we will be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.
This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help us to achieve our goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
