120 lengths this weekend
So we swam 120 length yesterday in an hour which now takes us to 220 lengths (5.5km) overall. We’ve got 2.5km left (100 lengths) - we can do this!100 lengths!
Today, despite April having a thick cold and Tom having just played an hour long football match (they drew 1-1), the kids forged ahead and swam 100 lengths between them! The kids are exhausted but we go again next weekend 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻Thank you!

Tom and April are challenging themselves to swim 8km this March (that’s 320 lengths of the local pool) to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).
Tom has suffered with severe life threatening allergies throughout his life and it has been a constant battle for us as a family to make sure he is safe and included. Great Ormond Street have given us the opportunity to have access to groundbreaking research and clinical expertise in an oral immunotherapy programme which will make a massive difference to Tom’s life. We are very grateful for everything they have done for us so far and what they plan to do for him in the future.
With every kilometre they swim, and every pound raised, our family want to give back. We want to help to give seriously ill children, and children like Tom with complex health needs, the best chance in life and the best childhood possible.
Please help Tom and April to achieve their goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
