My target 20 kms

So it begins!

The journey towards my fundraising swim has officially started with a solid first session of 1,056m in the pool. It’s just the beginning, but every stroke is a step closer to the goal.

Originally, I signed up to complete 8km – but I’ve decided to take it further and aim for 20km in total. It’s going to be a real challenge, but I’m determined to push myself and make every length count for GOSH.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far – your support means so much and really does make a difference.

For us as a family, Great Ormond Street Hospital has been a part of our lives for the past six years. The incredible team there work tirelessly to help and support children and their families, no matter what challenges they’re facing. Their dedication, compassion, and expertise have had a profound impact on us, and this swim is my way of giving back.

20km might sound like a long way (because it is!), but with your encouragement and support, I know I can get there. Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly towards helping GOSH continue the life-changing work they do every single day.

If you’d like to support, please consider donating and sharing this challenge with others. Together we can make a real difference.

I’m swimming 8km in October for GOSH Charity!

My family has so much gratitude for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Without them, our lives would be very different. For a long time, I’ve been thinking about how I can give back and raise as much money as possible to support the incredible work they do and the lives they change.

That’s why this October, I’m challenging myself to swim 8km to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).

Childhood should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun — of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes far too brief.

GOSH Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children treated every day at Great Ormond Street Hospital, for those with rare or complex illnesses across the UK, and for generations to come — because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

With every kilometre I swim, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Please help me reach my goal by donating whatever you can. No amount is too small to make a difference.
