48 Hours Later - Target Met!
A huge thank you to everyone who has donated. Target was £2,500 and this has been met within 48 hours! Truly overwhelmed at your generosity and warm wishes xThe Gold Family are walking 25km in December for GOSH Charity!
As some of you will know, earlier this year, Devon, one of our gorgeous girls was diagnosed with a malignant tumor of the hard palate.
Every single person we met at Great Ormand Street Hospital - the consultants, anesthetists, nurses, the admin team, and also the amazing volunteers - all showed us kindness, empathy and a level of care we will never forget and will always be beyond grateful for!
Throughout months of appointments, investigations, biopsies and surgeries, GOSH guided us, supported us, and looked after Devon with extraordinary dedication and kindness. We always knew GOSH did incredible work but experiencing it first-hand showed us just how unbelievably life-changing this place really is!
Thanks to GOSH, Devon has made an amazing recovery! We will never be able to repay them for what they have done for our family, but we have joined the Wonderland Walk 2025 and will be walking 25km in December for GOSH Charity so that we can try to give a little something back! And with every kilometre we clock up, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.
We have set up this fundraising page to support GOSH so they can continue helping other families the way they helped us. We would be so grateful if you would help to support us and make a donation to this amazing cause - no amount is too small to make a difference.

A Bit About GOSH...
Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.
That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.
And with every kilometre we clock up, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.
