Swim 8km in March 2026

Oops… I did it again! 🏊‍♂️

Today I pushed myself further than ever before and broke my personal swimming record.

For the first time in my life I swam 150 lengths (18m each) – that’s 2,700 meters – in one go.

Actually it was 152 lengths, but my watch had already stopped!

I’ve never ever swum that far before — not even close — so this is a huge personal achievement for me and I’m incredibly happy and excited about it.

I’m doing this to support the amazing children treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital, who fight their battles with courage every single day.

Thanks to your generosity we have already raised almost £900, which is absolutely incredible. Thank you all for the encouragement, support and donations — it truly motivates me to keep going.

And this is not the end…

I’ll be back in the pool again. And I’ll do it again.

If you can spare a little, you can help a lot.

Thank you for supporting this cause ❤️

Swimming for the children!!!

🏊‍♂️ Today I pushed through another 2.5 km swim for the children at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Honestly — I felt knackered today after yesterday’s gym session, but I still did it.

💪This means that by Saturday I’ll reach over 7 km of swimming in one week, the most I’ve ever done.

I’m giving everything I’ve got for these kids.

Your donations are the fuel that keeps me going.

🙏 Huge thanks to everyone who has already donated — you’re amazing.

If you haven’t yet and would like to support this cause, please consider donating.

Even a small amount makes a real difference.

Please donate and help keep me going!

🏊‍♂️ A small step for me, but hopefully a big help for someone in need.

Today I completed another swim as part of my March 8 km challenge for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

✅ Today’s swim: 2,520 meters

⏱ Time: 1 hour 11 minutes

🔥 Calories burned: 827 kcal

Every time I jump into the water I remind myself why I’m doing this.

Jesus said:

“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

This challenge is my small way of helping children who are fighting serious illnesses. Every donation and every share really makes a difference.

If you would like to support this cause, please follow the donation link below this post.

Thank you to everyone who has already supported and encouraged me. It truly means a lot. 🙏

Happy day!!! Not 2km but 2.5km

After visiting the Carshalton swimming pool today, I spoke with the manager Josh and found out the pool is actually 18 meters long, not 15 meters as I originally thought.

That means on Monday I didn’t swim just over 2000 m, but actually almost 2.5 km!

Because of that, during my March challenge I’ll now complete 134 lengths of the 18 m pool for each long swim.

Thank you all for your amazing support and donations for Great Ormond Street Hospital — it really keeps me going! 🙏

My first ever 2km swim!!!

I wanted to share some good news with everyone who has already donated — and with those who are thinking about supporting this great cause.

Tonight, I completed my first ever 2km swim in one session. In my whole life.

I feel amazing — and even more motivated. I promise to push myself further this month, for you and for the cause we are supporting together.

Thank you for every donation and every share. It truly means a lot

The day has come!!!

Today I start pushing myself.

I can swim — but this month I’m stepping it up.

Normally I do around 1.6km a week. Now I’m aiming for 2km twice a week and a total of 8km+ as fast as I can.

It’s a challenge. It’s discipline. It’s for a good cause.

You’ve already been incredibly generous — THANK YOU!

Let’s keep going

Starting tomorrow, 2nd of March!!!

Dear, to all who have already donated THANK YOU. To all considering donation, every penny counts though if you can’t afford please share with friends.
Tomorrow is a big day, I am starting challenging myself and promise I will do all I can to make it happen and I say not only 8km but will try swim 10km. Keep cheering guys!!!

I’m swimming 8km in March for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to swim 8km this March to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).

Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.

That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

And with every kilometre I swim, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
