I’m running 100km in September for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to run 100km this September to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity). Please help me to achieve my goal of £500 by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.

Hello hello,

To anyone here that I don’t know, I’m Boo. I started running a year ago, and have gone from not being able to run at all (and being super anxious about doing it due to an old road accident knee injury) to running regularly. GOSH are a hospital that are super close to my family’s heart, having saved my sister’s life 15 years ago, so when I saw this challenge, it felt like a no brainer. 

So come along with me. Any donations at all are going to an unbelievably good cause, and do feel free to make requests with your donation. Want me to run a specific distance? Want me to do it in a stupid costume, or backwards, or with your great grandma? Your wish is my command.

About GOSH Charity

Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.

That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

And with every kilometre I run, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.
