Sunday 29th October! Last swim!!!

Hi all!!!
A very big thank you for all your generous donations!!!
I completed the last swim today 1.5kms .....actually did 70 lenghts so 10 extra just for the hell of it😆 and the love of swimming!
It has been a great challenge getting me into theswimming pool (even on a horrid day like today)  with the GOSH hat and trying to help GOSH whilst getting healthy so only wins!!!
Highly recommend swimming to anyone
And hope it helps GOSH a little bit!!!

Sunday 22nd October

Hellllllo! The sun was shining through the roof of the pool yesterday so swam 90 lenghts!!! My aim was 80  but carried on ......so very happy : total of 6.5kms so far!
1.5kms left on the counter...:-)
so the last part of the challenge will be completed next weekend; back in the pool of VA Fulham Pools on Saturday or Sunday !!!!

Wednesday October 4th

Hello hello!!

Thanks to train strikes today, worked from home so got up early and swam another 2kms this morning (before breakfast😀)....struggled at 50 lengths....but made it to 80 lenghts.....so here we go ! 4kms done as of today!
Total 4kms250meters exactly....quite empowering.....when you put your mind to it, definitely "mind over matter"!😀
No pictures as Virgin Active swimming pool rules are no camera in pool but was wearing the Great Ormond Swimming cap!

Sunday 1st October

Hi Everyone!!!!
Thank you so much for your donations!!!!
I completed my first 2kms today!!! Just now!!!
Swam 90 lengths so over 2kms exactly 2kms and 250meters

I’m swimming 8K in October for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to swim 8 kilometres this October to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.

And with every metre I swim I’ll be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.

Thank you to my Sponsors
