Mission complete!

8km completed, basically in 2 weeks, post c-section! Now back into it and raised money for GOSH win win!
Thanks to Adam for having Leo straight from work some days to help me complete the target and thanks to those that donated x

Keep swimming!

After a lovely 10 days away with friends and family to celebrate my 40th birthday I am back at it and playing catch up. I was in a bit too much pain while away to do as much as I thought I could, but now I’m feeling much better, just have to do half the swim in one week! Who said having a baby was easy?! This whole too posh to push thing needs a rebrand!

In training!

After 2 months off to birth a child I have officially completed my first swim. Only 600m but slowly slowly. Great news - I can still swim 🏊‍♀️
Good time and not too much of a drastic decline in speed as I used to have following a break, so I’m good to go. 8km will however only be difficult getting time in pool as baby Leo unfortunately can not yet swim 8km with me… one day!!

I’m swimming 8km in October for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to swim 8km this October to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).

Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.

That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

And with every kilometre I swim, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
