I’m running 100km in September for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to run 100km this September to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity). Please help me to achieve my goal of £1000 by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.

💙

💙 👟 I’ve taken on the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity  challenge to run/walk 100 k throughout September 💙 👟

Earlier this year we welcomed our gorgeous daughter Nellie to the world. We couldn’t wait to get our new baby girl home and settle in as a family of four.

Then at just four days old our new born baby bubble was suddenly burst when Nellie became drastically unwell and we were blue lighted to Great Ormond Street Hospital.

After days of tests & scans we were finally given a diagnosis  and told that our brave and beautiful baby had Hirschsprung Disease. A rare disease that affects the large intestines and that she would need a corrective surgery indefinitely within a few months.

It was a scary and lonely time but with the support from all the amazing team at GOSH we were able to navigate the next few steps and plan to get Nellie fit and well for her up coming surgery.

Fast forward to now , Nellie is 4 weeks post op and absolutely thriving. The outcome from surgery was everything we could have hoped for and more and it’s all thanks to GOSH. The level of expertise was incredible, world class even and I’ll forever be greatful to every single one of the team because they saved our little girls life 🥹

That’s why I’ve decided to raise money for Great Ormond Street hospital charity and do the September 100 k challenge. Any donation will help big or small !
Thanks 😘

About GOSH Charity

Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.

That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

And with every kilometre I run, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
