I've done it!! 8km swim for GOSH - challenge COMPLETE! Thank you for your support!!

Thank you all so much for your incredibly generous donations and kind words of encouragement.  It has been hard work, but definitely worth it and I am so happy that we’ve managed to help so many poorly children at GOSH.  I feel really proud of what we’ve achieved together.

This is incredible! Thank you all so much for your amazing support. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw how much we’ve raised for GOSH so far. Your support really means a lot and is helping me get closer to my 8k swimming goal. It also keeps me going when my arms feel like they’re about to fall off from all the swimming!! Thank you for visiting my page.

I’m challenging myself to swim 8km this March to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).

One of my consultants once said I was born with the most complicated Lego booklet ever, lots of Lego pieces missing and no one could explain why or which pieces!

GOSH never gave up on me and saved my life.  I wasn’t expected to survive the winter months on several occasions, start school, make friends, or even play football.  GOSH always tried different ways to save my life and adapted to make up for the missing pieces.  

Thanks to GOSH and my amazing consultants, here I am, now 11, very grateful to be here, loving life and football.

No one knows what the future holds, but I want to help other children like me.  Childhood should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun, and I want to do what I can to make that possible.

With every kilometre I swim, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
