Keep swimming - 7.4k done :)
I have reached 7.3k on 27th of March, i have 2 more days to go ...6.4k completed
Completed yesterday 6,434m 🏊♀️3k completed 🙌
Excuses, Excuses… 😆🏊♀️
I haven’t been in the pool for a whole week… but not because I was lazy! My beautician forbade me from swimming after my last treatment. And who am I to argue with beauty science? 😅
But no more excuses! Today, I finally got back in and smashed 1,088 meters, bringing my total to 3,000 meters. Halfway to my 8,000-meter goal for Great Ormond Street Hospital!
Moral of the story: Self-care is important, but so is making a splash for a good cause! 💦😂
2K Down, 6K to Go!
Today I swam 1,080m, bringing my total to 2,120, in my 8k swimming challenge! But honestly? This one wasn’t as easy as the first 1k. Motivation wasn’t quite there, and I really had to push myself.
It made me think - how often do we give up on our goals too soon, finding excuses that seem valid in the moment? Having a big goal ahead of me kept me from stopping, even when I wanted to.
Now, I’ve got my 2k badge and I’m not stopping here. On to the next milestone!
First 1k ✅
First big milestone reached! 🏊♀️💪
Today, I swam 1,040 metres - my first significant step toward my goal of 8,000 meters this March. Every metre counts in supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital, and I’m grateful for all the encouragement along the way!
I’m swimming 8km in March for GOSH Charity!
I’m challenging myself to swim 8km this March to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).
Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.
That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.
And with every kilometre I swim, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.
Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
Dinochka, all the best ♥️
