Day 2 of my #swim 8km to support Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity

Day 2 of my #swim 8km to support Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

Another 4,000m completed, bringing my total to 8km over two days!

I have always been passionate about supporting charities I believe in, including Cancer Research UK, RSPCA, NHS, and GOSH. These organizations not only help those in need but also play a vital role in social responsibility.

Meanwhile, my children have also been fundraising in their own way—by reading books! Over the past month, they’ve earned £1 per book, with a £20 cap, to donate to GOSH. So far, Edward has reached his £20 goal, and Caroline has raised £10. I have transferred their contributions to GOSH on their behalf.

4,000m done! Thank you for all your support. Let's work together to give these children the best chance at a brighter future.

Swimming for Childhood: 8km for Great Ormond Street Hospital

This March, I’m going to swim 8km to support Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).

Childhood should be filled with joy, curiosity, and adventure—but for many seriously ill children, it’s cut short or put on hold. GOSH Charity helps give these children fuller, funner, and longer childhoods by funding vital care, research, and support.

Every kilometre I swim and every pound raised will help make a difference. Please donate whatever you can—no amount is too small to help give these children the best chance at a brighter future.

I’m swimming 8km in March for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to swim 8km this March to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).

Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.

That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

And with every kilometre I swim, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
