Progress

Thankyou to all those who have sponsored me already! Much appreciated. I am half way through the 150 km in October and I’ve got 49 miles left to go!

I’m walking 150K in October for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to walk 150 kilometres this October to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.

And with every kilometre I walk, I’ll be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.

150 km: 1. About 1,500 football pitches lined up end to end. 2. The height of 30,000 giraffes. 3. The distance from Exeter to Bristol. 4. Walking 3.5 marathons. 5. The length of 1,500,000 standard-sized cars parked bumper to bumper. 6. Nearly 1,600 times the height of the Eiffel Tower. 7. The length of 375,000 double-decker buses. 8. Roughly the distance of driving from London to Oxford and back twice. 9. The length of about 142,000 blue whales laid nose to tail. 10. The circumference of Pluto three times over. Enjoy
