I’m swimming 8km in March for GOSH Charity!
Most people know I like a swim. It’s probably a personality trait of mine at this point. However, what few people know is that I spent the first month of my life in Great Ormond Street Hospital and was in and out of their care until the age of three.
GOSH treats and looks after seriously ill children. Through advancing research and specialist care, children who are admitted to GOSH are given a better chance of having fuller, funner, and longer lives. Alongside this, another crucial part of the hospital is the vital services it provides. From home-from-home accommodation to Play specialists, GOSH ensures that its patients also receive the best childhood possible.
This year, as a way of giving back and to support GOSH’s work and vital services which make it possible for patients to experience normal childhoods, I am swimming 8k to fundraise for the GOSH charity. If you are able to donate, whatever you can, to this worthwhile cause (or share my page) I’d really appreciate it.
Roll on March and smelling faintly of chlorine at all times!
