My 896-Step Challenge: For My Children and Yours
I’m stepping up for seriously ill children by taking on the Walkie Talkie Tower Climb on Saturday 28 March 2026. I’ll be tackling 36 floors and 896 steps to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
This is a cause that has always been incredibly close to my heart. Even before I became a father, I felt a deep responsibility to support the life-saving work done at GOSH. Now, as a father of two, that commitment has only grown stronger. Seeing the world through my children's eyes makes me even more determined to ensure that every child has the chance at a healthy future.
Why I am climbing:
🎗️ No childhood should be cut short by cancer. While research has improved survival rates, cancer remains the leading cause of death for children aged one to 14 in the UK.
🏥 Creating a world-class facility. GOSH needs a new home for breakthrough treatments. We aren't just building a hospital; we are building a space that includes a school, a playground, and a garden—places where kids can still be kids.
🤝 Every little helps. This extraordinary hospital has always relied on charitable support. Whether it's a small donation or a larger gift, every penny goes toward groundbreaking research and advanced medical equipment.
💙 Supporting families. Your donations help fund vital support services for children and their families during the most difficult times of their lives.
Every day, hundreds of children arrive at GOSH from across the UK. Doctors and nurses fight tirelessly to give them a new lease of life, but they cannot do it alone. A better future for seriously ill children starts with us.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my page and for any support you can provide.
