Walk 150K in October 2024

Great Ormond Street and I.

GOSH has a special place in my heart and my story. My beautiful little sister was diagnosed with cancer as a baby and had to get a kidney removed before even turning 1. I was just a toddler yet I remember the journey through Camden. The big chair hanging in mid air on the corner, the dragon and unlaced shoes protruding out the walls, people just everywhere then I knew where we were off to. I remember the corridors and effort made to make it least daunting as possible, creativity splashed all over the walls, the elephant ward I believe is where we would go. The big red bus was epic and sensory areas within the hospital helped me feel less alien to what I couldn't understand. GOSH saved my sister is now what I understand and many of the kids I have went on to work with throughout life. Maybe somewhere in my heart Great Ormond Street was the reason I found myself in these roles.

Today marks the anniversary of a fond student of mine with SMA who passed away in 2019 who was also cared for by GOSH. I wish to walk for her,  my sister and all the children I have been blessed to meet because of the work and care GOSH has achieved. You have given life and hope to so many families and continue to change the world for the better ❤️
Please donate.

Thank you

I’m walking 150K in October for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to walk 150 kilometres this October to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.

And with every kilometre I walk, I’ll be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
