I’m running 100km in September for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to run 100km this September to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity). Please help me to achieve my goal of £225 by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.

A huge thank you to everyone who has sponsored me so far - I can’t quite believe I’ve already exceeded my target and raised over £400! Your support means the world and will help make such a difference 💙 Yesterday I reached 33km. It hasn't been easy…there have been rainy runs, a few in the dark, one breezy (but beautiful) stretch along Lytham seafront (my favourite so far!), and even a long walk with Freddie in tow. My calves still don’t quite know what’s hit them (my last proper run was January 2021!!) but every message, donation, and bit of encouragement has kept me going. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hello!

This September, I’ve signed up to the ‘Run 100km in September’ challenge to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity). It can be a mix of running, jogging, or walking (…which in my case will be a lot of walking as I am certainly not a runner!).

Our son Freddie was seen by a specialist team at GOSH following his arrival last December. Freddie is healthy, happy and thriving, and has now been discharged. But during our visits to GOSH, we saw first-hand the dedication, compassion, and expertise that makes the hospital so special.

This will be a big challenge for me but I’m determined to complete it and I would really love your support! I’ve set myself a fundraising target of £225, which GOSH say could fund five nights of family accommodation - giving parents somewhere to stay close by when their child is in hospital.
