I’m swimming 8km in March for GOSH Charity!

Hello you wonderful friend/family for clicking on the link to get here.
This March, I’m challenging myself to swim 8km to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity). As you may know, swimming isn't my go-to sport, and I haven't swum a length since I was 12 so safe to say this will be a challenge.
Following my ACL Surgery in November, and working through my fairly non-linear recovery, I decided that trying a sport where I don't have to use my legs would help me out.
At the start of February I bought a sixth month swim membership in the hopes of dipping my toe in the water and doing a few lengths.
However, when I saw the GOSH CHARITY CHALLENGE, I realised that there is more to my swimming than my own progress and recovery. It could more importantly fund help for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come.
Every kilometre swam, and every penny raised (and every pair of goggles actually used for swimming purposes), will help to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.
Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
