Nearly done ✅

Not long left - really enjoyed this challenge as of yet, bringing me so much satisfaction! Appreciate all & any support given. I’ve upped the levs slightly in my most recent swims as gone from 20/30/30 lengths to 40/40 & then 52 .. BIG improvements. Well done to everyone who’s also joined the cause ✌️ xx

Smash!! 💥

Smashed out half a mile tonight (30 lengths of 25m) even after a days work!! Chuffed with myself - bring on the morning pain lol

Updates ! !

Hello guys & girls, currently done my third swim today of 20 laps each time = 60 total.

Wanted to try push for 32 today which is the equivalence of half a mile but was unable.. never the less still managed the 20! Please keep following/showing your support but the main thing is the DONATIONS! Don’t forget if you haven’t already. Thanks :):) xxx

Just because

Hey! Sooo a couple years back I vowed to do a fundraiser for cancer research every single year for as long as I am physically able due to multiple personal losses to our family from this illness  .. This is the 3rd year. However we aren’t the only ones who have suffered, have loss or upset in this world (far from it) if anything I consider us extremely blessed :) anyway short & thick of it I have left it too late to enter any challenges for CR in time for end of this year so I saw this challenge, like to swim & also feel it’s doable.. let alone the cause it is for!!!! “Young unfortunate children” very sad! So… let’s do it, let’s empty our pockets & try raise as me as we possibly can for this fantastic charity 🤙🤙😎♥️

I shall figure a way to keep you guys posted on my activity so you are able to see your money is being appreciated.

Peace xx

I’m swimming 8km in October for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to swim 8km this October to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).

Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.

That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

And with every kilometre I swim, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
