A big old swim today ✊👍😊🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️

IWD here’s one for us swimming Nana’s!
3 km front crawl, loved it : slow, steady and mindful.
Enjoying being in the water, thinking time, conclusion is I have a lot to be grateful for 😊
Thanks to my cheer leaders for encouraging me to do this.

Day 2 : 2 k 🏊

Hi Everyone
Sorry for the late text update. I’ve been at work, got my swimming legs on on 02/03/24 and completed a 2 km front crawl swim. I loved it , just swimming , being present in the water. Not really thinking about too much else.
Hopefully days off permitting I’ll be back at the end of the week. Your support had been amazing 🙏🏊‍♀️ so much

First swim today 😊

Hi everyone
I’ve completed my first swim today, yippee! I was aiming for two km and the old legs were willing. However due to the pool resembling a weekend traffic jam and congested with keen dippers I managed 1 km before pool rage set in 😂😂
Can’t work out to update it on the dash board, but I’ve done it.
Thank you everyone for your support, it’s blown me away. You’re all very generous and this is a great cause.

I'm swimming 8K in March for GOSH Charity

I’m challenging myself to swim 8 kilometres this March to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.

And with every metre I swim I’ll be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.

Thank you to my Sponsors
