Due to me having couple days off to reset my body due to sciatica I now have to do 6K for 15 days the first being today!Recovery
Managed to get a 5K in day 16 due to a couple days off! All the walking as my Sciatica playing up. Managed to get some stretching in though. 15 days left of the month so to not miss any Ks I’ve got to do 6K per day. Hopefully I can get through this without too much pain. Hopefully all this will be worth it.Day 13- 5k complete
Gym sesh on the treadmill to try and alleviate pressure on my lower back. Still we got it done!!!Day 12 - Pending!

6Th 5K complete , got out and about with two of my kids today! Feeling great!Day 5 - 5th 5k complete
Today was tough - it’s the weekend! I did not feel like walking 5k or doing any exercise as I was too tired. Despite this I dragged my behind to the gym to walk my 5K! Remembering why I’m committed to doing this helps to spur me on. After all I wouldn’t want people to give up on the kids or for the kids to give up. Let’s do this!!!Day 4- 4th 5K complete
So happy today I managed to walk in the sun, whilst pushing Harrison! Made such a difference to my mood being out.Day 3- 3rd 5K complete
Starting to feel achey! It may just be walking but going from 0 exercise to daily exercise my body is like wahey what’s going on. Feeling good though!Day 2 - 2nd 5k Complete
Another walk on the Treadmill! Tomorrow hoping to get outside with Harrison!!!!October 1st- First 5K completed
Due to a busy day I had to do my 5k at the gym on the Treadmill. Still got to start somewhere :)I’m walking 150K in October for GOSH Charity!
I’m challenging myself to walk 150 kilometres this October to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).
Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.
And with every kilometre I walk, I’ll be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.
This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
