Almost half way. . .
After another early morning swim, Henry and I are now at 3870m and are almost half way! We swam 52 lengths this morning and are starting to really enjoy the challenge. Thank you for all your support, Katie and Henry xAnd we’re off. . .
So this post is a little later than I’d hoped, but after a busy week, Henry and I started our weekend with a 50 length swim. . .we are both feeling good and looking forward to the next swim.We are swimming 8K in March!
I'm swimming 8K in March for GOSH Charity
I’m challenging myself to swim 8 kilometres this March to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).
Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.
And with every metre I swim I’ll be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.
This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
