Walk 150K in October 2024

Sponsor shirt

9 days before the end of October and I've finally recieved my sponsor t-shirt. Been walking everyday since 1st with serious health issues and only had 2 donations totalling £25. If I'd have received my t-shirt at the shirt I'd have pro ally got more donations with photos showing me in t-shirt out doing the walks. Very disappointed not to have done well in donations like

sickness

I fell poorly Saturday and just recovered yesterday, gutted because slept for 2 days and only got back out yesterday. Sorry every1 feel as tho I've let people down, just hope I can make it up by reaching 150k goal

Achievement

Walked 4825 steps today and achieved 6k already since 1st October.
This is a great achievement for me as people that know me knows of my health conditions and how I struggle to walk, I only get 4 doors away from my home and I'm having to stop as out of breath.
I decided to do this charity event and help raise money for GOSH not only for the sick children fighting illnesses every day but for myself as I know I can do it and it's helping with my daily struggles and illnesses too.

October 1st

Did 1200 steps

starting tomorrow 1st October

I'll be starting my walking tomorrow and everyday throughout October. Still waiting for my t-shirt as not received it before I start. Will keep you all updated the best I can. Please sponsor me every little helps

I’m walking 150K in October for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to walk 150 kilometres this October to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.

And with every kilometre I walk, I’ll be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
