I swam with waterproof headphones today and it made a big difference. The music really helped me stay in a rhythm and keep going.
Yesterday I swam 0.95 km, and today I managed to reach 1 km in the pool. It might seem like a small step, but it felt great to push a little further.
Having music while swimming made the session more enjoyable and helped me stay motivated. Sometimes a small change can make a big difference. 🏊♂️🎧

32 lengths in a 25m pool — 800 metres (0.8km).
This session was a ladies-only swim, which made it feel even more positive. There’s something powerful about being in a space where women can train, focus, and build strength together. It was a great reminder that showing up, moving your body, and supporting each other matters.
A straightforward swim, a solid distance, and another step in the fundraising effort.
If you’d like to support the cause, any contribution is appreciated.

30 Lengths Later 🏊♀️
I swam 30 lengths in a 25m pool today — that’s 750 metres (0.75 km) in total. 💦
This swim is in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital.
A huge thank you to everyone who has donated — your generosity is helping make a real difference for seriously ill children and their families. 💛
I’m swimming 8km in March for GOSH Charity!
I’m challenging myself to swim 8km this March to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).
Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.
That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.
And with every kilometre I swim, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.
Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
