Another swim complete. 1 mile swam today and no breaks needed. What a difference already!

Another swim completed. Just over 4km swam so far, half way already! I'll keep swimming once the 8km is complete but will update less.

Messed up on my watch a little. 54 lengths swam, my first ever mile!

FIRST SWIM OF THE MONTH

A sightly delayed start to this challenge (we can blame a wisdom tooth removal followed by a gnarly cough for that) 
Anyway, 1.2 km swam today. Happy with the start that I've made and impressed that I didn't have to stop as much as i thought I would.

I’m swimming 8km in March for GOSH Charity! 

I’m challenging myself to swim 8km this March to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).

I've recently started going swimming again and I feel like this would be a good challenge to set myself whilst also attempting to raise a little money for GOSH. 

As many of you know, as a child I struggled a lot with palpitations as a result of a heart condition called SVT. In 2014 after many appointments and tests, I had keyhole heart surgery at GOSH, although it was scary, the staff and hospital were wonderful. 

I know this hospital relies on charitable donations to be able to support the children and families that visit them. 

Any donations you are able to make are extremely appreciated. Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
