Sunglasses weather

Still freezing outside but actually got to wear sunglasses in the pool today 😎 Thanks to everyone’s generosity I’ve now upped my target amount - so grateful for the support and it helped motivate me to do another 1km swim today 🥳

Another 1km down, in an OUTDOOR pool no less 🥶 Had some tracking issues on this page but hopefully all fixed now. Thanks for all the support so far! 🩵

Throughout March I’m taking on the challenge to swim 8km and raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

GOSH was where my mum started her nursing career, and she’s now been working in the NHS for 50 years (which still blows my mind). I’m doing this challenge partly for me, partly for mum, and partly to support the kind of care she’s given to children and families throughout her career.

GOSH Charity helps fund the extra things that make a huge difference - from research and equipment to support for families going through incredibly tough times. They care for children with rare and complex conditions from all over the UK, and the work they do really matters.

If you’re able to donate, I’d be so grateful. Every contribution, big or small, genuinely helps.
