My target 100 kms

I’m running 100km in September for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to run 100km this September to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity). Please help me to achieve my goal of £500 by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.

Day 11 - 5km to make 30km/100km

Slow start to the week, first 5km on Thursday so have 20km to do over the next 3 days

Day 7 - 5km for 25km for the week!

Managed a 5km in 25:18 to wrap up the first week with 25km covered. 3 weeks and 75km to go!

Day 6 - 6.5km

Managed to do 6.5km today, 5km in 26:08 and 6.5km in 33:39 which takes me to 20km for the week.

Day 3 - 5 Aside Football 8.5km

Rested on Day 2 and on Day 3 had 5 aside where I accumulated 8.5km. This gets rounded to 9km but I'll get the 0.5km done in my next run which will hopefully be 6.5km to get me to 20km for the week.

Day 1 - First Run 5km

On my first day, I managed to complete a 5km with a time of 26:54. My personal best is 21:47, so I have a long way to go. With 95km to go, hopefully I can reduce my time over the course of the month.

About GOSH Charity

Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.

That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

And with every kilometre I run, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
