11k today! Took my time, listened to audible on the way out and enjoyed the scenery. Only 29k to go now for 100k in Sept for Great Ormond Street children’s hospital - feeling very proud and very sore on my shin! Thanks again to those who have sponsored me, greatly appreciated and definitely keeping me going as I want this done now 😂 🏃♀️7k off today!! 14/09
Was hard going and it is starting to take a toll on my lower legs :-(Park run today 13/09
Another 5k off! Personal best at park run as well !!8k off today!!!
Phew 😮💨 8k done today so now only 56k to go for 100k in September for Great Ormond Street Children’s hospital. Much prefer running when it’s cooler and no dinner to cook for anyone! Fastest 5k in a while as well so I’m proud of that even if it’s still slow. Makes it so much easier to plod round the beautiful countryside here!10th Sept 6k off
After a couple of days battling a bug im back at it. Another 6k off!!Another 5k off !
Another 5k off today at Ickworth for change of scenery. Got lost several times (!) and found this hard after a night out 🍻 but saw a heron and only 65k left to go now off of 100k in September for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital 💪 thank you so, so much for those who have donated already! Link is in my page, every donation helps towards this great cause. https://janurun.gosh.org/login/event
Day 5 another 5k off
Another 5k off 100k in Sept for GOSH with my lovely friend Amy Rabaiotti who hasn’t run for over a year and smashed it on our lovely chatty run 🏃♀️Day 4
7k off 100k in Sept for GOSH at lunch. Did 6k and crawled another 1k home 😂 Got soaked but then sun came out. Makes it easier being so pretty round here. Link to sponsor is on my page. 80k to go!!2nd and 3rd Sept update
Another wet 5k off yesterday and managed a short 3k tonight with rainbows 🌈 as short on time. So fortunate to have such a lovely village to run in. 87k left to go off of 100k in September for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital. If anyone can sponsor even a few pounds, all gratefully received and much love to those who already have. 🏃♀️Day 1 100k in sept - 5k done!
Ok 1st of September so first run! I’m not going to bore you all every day with #runningwanker posts, but I thought as it’s the first day it needed to be done! Before after after - courtesy of the lovely Sue from next door (ignore my washing line.) Bit hot, but legs all strapped like my ancient horses and ankle was fine so all good. Hot 5k in bag, but early days.About GOSH Charity
Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.
That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.
And with every kilometre I run, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.
Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
