Why I’m Walking/Running 150k for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity

Recently, I experienced a health scare that left me shaken. At my young age, it was a stark wake-up call—a reminder of how easily we take our health for granted. It pushed me to make some much-needed changes in my life, focusing on improving my fitness and overall well-being for the future. As I started on this journey to better health, I came across a challenge that spoke to me on a deep level: walking and running 150 kilometers to support Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Great Ormond Street Hospital is an incredible charity that provides vital care for children and supports their families during unimaginably difficult times. Children are a gift, and seeing them suffer from illness is heartbreaking. This charity steps in, offering world-class treatment and a lifeline to families in need. The work they do resonates deeply with me, and it feels right to use this moment of personal growth to contribute to such a meaningful cause.

Taking on this challenge allows me to not only focus on my fitness but also help raise awareness and funds for an organisation that makes a real difference in the lives of so many. Every step I take, every kilometer I cover, will be dedicated to the brave children and families who rely on the support of Great Ormond Street Hospital.
