Done!!!

Last 20 lengths completed this evening!! 🙌 that's 320 in total and 8km!
Gutted my watch battery ran out so I couldn't record the swim 😪
Thank you to everyone that has sponsored me, your generosity means alot, the money will support a lot of children and will make their lives happier ❤️

Sunday 30th March

Only managed 50 lengths today.......I really wanted to do the remaining 70 and complete the challenge but I just didn't have it in me 🙄
20 to go......💪

Sunday 23rd March

Another 50 lengths completed today 🙌
Only 70 to go! X

Sunday 16th March

Another 50 lengths completed today 🙌 over half way now, only another 120 to go!

Sunday 9th March

Another 50 lengths swum today, the pool was quite busy so wasn't as chilled as last Sunday's swim.  I bought a new watch to capture my swim but it didn't work as well as I thought, I'm going to read the instructions before my swim on Wednesday 😳😅

Wednesday 5th March

Swam another 50 lengths this evening,  2.5km done so far! Thank you to Musa and Ava for swimming alongside me 😊

Sunday 2nd March

Today I swam 50 lengths, 1.25km.
Ava came to support me and cheer me on 😊

I’m swimming 8km in March for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to swim 8km this March to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).

Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.

That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

And with every kilometre I swim, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.

GOSH is close to my heart, having supported my sister while her little boy battled Leukemia. I know what an amazing place it is and I know too well the life-threatening risks of living with neutropenia. Good luck with the swimming - you'll be a real life mermaid by the end of it! ❤️🧜🏼‍♀️
