Hello 
Sorry I haven't posted much .. life has been quite busy between school and training !
Although my page hasn't quite caught up I have now reached my 16 km for March !! 
I'm so happy this evening ... I missed a couple sessions this week as I wasn't well but I caught up in the last two nights and swam my way to the finishing line !! Although I have achieved my goal I am going to continue going to see how far I can get by the end of the month ! 

Back in the water 💦

After a couple of days rest I'm back in my favourite place - the pool !
I had 2 great sessions although we focused a bit more on speed rather than distance but I still clocked 1.75 km over 2 days ! 
Now off to bed ! Tmrw is another swim ! 

Big swim tonight

Tonight I swam 76 lengths - 1.9km ! I'm absolutely shattered .. but I feel really good at the same time !
Now off to rest !! Next swims in Sunday

Last night I did my second swim of the month and clocked 1.1km ... I have 3 more sessions this week so let's see how far I can get ! 
Another day another swim 🤩

First swim in March !

Today I did my first swim towards my goal - it was a short session with some of my friends Rama and James and I swam 545 m towards my 16km ! 
Next session is Tuesday night which should be a much longer distance ! !

My name is Oscar and I am 9 years old . I love swimming more than anything and I thought why not try to raise money for such a great cause doing what I love the most ! 
I would love for the children in Great Ormond Street to benefit from some extra support, money and facilities and I hope to be able to help a bit in my own way 

I’m swimming 16km in March for GOSH Charity! 

I’m challenging myself to swim 16km this March to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).

Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.

That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

And with every kilometre I swim, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
