MY WHY

Im extremely grateful to the surgeons and staff who took care of Archie back in Dec 2020 when he had major skull surgery for a rare condition called Unicoronal Craniosynostosis and two eye surgeries since then too. During all our stays/visits the whole team and all staff have been amazing and we will forever feel in debt to this great hospital. They know how to handle children better than anywhere else we have personally experienced.

Whenever I can I donate to them and probably always will.

As most people have no doubt noticed since having children I have barely participated in any physical activities so doing 150k in October will be a challenge! I'm pretty unfit!! It averages out to a distance of 5k a day for the whole month. I will upload my daily screenshots (at the end of each week so i dont bore u all) 🤣

I’m walking 150K in October for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to walk 150 kilometres this October to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.

And with every kilometre I walk, I’ll be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
