I’m running 100km in September for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to run 100km this September to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity). Please help me to achieve my goal of £750 by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.

The Reason Why

This September, I’ve challenged myself to run 100km in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) — a place that holds a very special place in our hearts.

Back in June 2022, when Roman was just 14 months old, he needed emergency neurosurgery to relieve pressure on his spinal cord caused by the shape of his skull. It was a life-changing operation at such a young age, and an incredibly frightening time for us as a family. The skill, care, and dedication shown by everyone at GOSH was nothing short of extraordinary — and we’ll be forever grateful.

That’s why I’m lacing up and running for them now. 🏃‍♂️❤️

So far, I’ve managed 44km (yes, my legs are feeling it!), and I’m determined to keep going until I reach the full 100km. I wanted to wait until I knew I’d stick with it before asking for support — but now I’m all in!

Every donation, big or small, will go directly to GOSH to help other children and families going through their toughest moments.

If you can, please sponsor me and support this amazing hospital. Together, we can make a difference.

About GOSH Charity

Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.

That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

And with every kilometre I run, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
