151Kms

Hi All,
Just a quick update on my progress, I have now reached 151kms with just 3 days of running to go.  I was feeling tired this morning, but felt compelled to do an early beach run whilst the wind had dropped, and a bit warmer.  For the first time I wore my White GOSH T which came in post a few weeks back, it was my first time of wearing it, and whilst it was under my running fleece it felt inspiring, and regained some motivation.  Little did I realise that on my morning run I would be accompanied by a special guest, It was an especially high tide yesterday and my new found friend had stopped for a nap, I'm sure the children at GOSH would have been thrilled with seeing him/her x.

Bird Flies..... Fish Swims..... Man Runs!!!!!!

Hi All, I have now completed 88kms (54.68 Miles) of original challenge 100kms for FEB.  So far so good!!! -  Mostly my route has been cross country and partial beach running, of Which the West Sussex stones are not helping this aging body lol.  As original Target of 100kms is now in sight, and that all Sponsors have given so generously, I will now try to run 150km, maybe even 200km if I can.  Thanking all of your support as I reach original Target, to be continued.... X

I’m running 100km in February for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to run 100km this February to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).

Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.

That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

And with every kilometre I run, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
