I’m swimming 8km in March for GOSH Charity!
After successfully swimming the Channel the year before last (not all at once), I am getting back in the water and challenging myself to swim 8km during March to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).
I will be swimming in memory of my mum, who was petrified of water and consequently a great lover of lifeboats. She also used to crochet the cutest jellyfish for premature babies in NICU, so I think she would have approved of this challenge.
Last time I took on a challenge, her wise words of encouragement were 'Just try not to drown' - I shall remember this, thanks Mum!
GOSH is an amazing charity, hospital is a miserable place for anyone, but must be awful for a kid. GOSH tries to make the experience just a little bit better.
Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
