Twenty-sixth walk 🚶♀️
Lunch time was spent walking, of course. I trotted around BBH and ended up on a bypass - awkward walk back to the footpath. I covered 4km and it was my final 4km of my 150km this month!!!!!! 🥳 I did it 🥳 wooohoooo! So so so happy I’ve raised money and awareness for GOSH!Twenty-fifth walk 🚶♀️ 🪵
Today’s walk was my quickest walk so far, I completed my 5km within 59mins 💨 move over Mr Bolt ⚡️ speedy legs coming throughhhh. I did a walk and talk with my gal pal Laura - she was unwell so we did a phone walk. We both did the same distance but covered a different area of the 🗺️ I love talking when walking!!!! XoTwenty-fourth walk today ❤️🔥
Made time today on my lunch break to get kilometres in, a brisk walk and a few chats on the phone with my pals 👯♀️ 📞 today I found it hard to stay motivated. When you get close to the end, I always feel l have to put in more effort? Anyways, so grateful to everyone who has sponsored me for the past 28 days! Doing 150km for the month has been a challenge and I’ve loved it! XoTwenty-third walk 🍂
Today was started the right way, we woke up and went for a walk around Kent. Me, Charlie and his Dad - he was showing us where he used to live and was telling us stories about everything form his childhood up to parenthood 😌 XoTwenty-second walk 🏉
Today walks were a combination of watching rugby and walking the fields. Bromley boys won!!! Wooohoo 🥳Twenty-first walk(s) 🎃
Kickstarted the KMs with Mum this afternoon, we explored the local housing estate and then stopped off to purchase a lottery ticket (oi oi winner winner chicken dinner) 🎰 we better win. Then this evening charlie and I went to Tulleys Evening Farm picking - it was fantastic! So well presented there. We had marshmallows, a burger and hot chocolate. Picked three pumpkins and ventured around the grounds x x xTwentieth walk today 🚶♀️ 🌙
What a day to be alive 🎃🕺🏼 today’s walk was needed. I was wfh and didn’t get a chance to step outside today cos I was too busy hustling aka learning/studying haha 📚Nineteenth walk 🚶♀️
Today’s kilometres were spent walking around my new work office. Third time at the office at the new company. I’m still getting used to where everything is placed and which level floor I am 😂 where the toilets are….. what the door codes are…. The brain wasn’t braining today 🧠 but I managed to clock up some kilometres!Eighteenth walk(s) 21.10.24 🌙
Started my first walk at lunch time, a brief walk around the woodlands near my house. Walked around a new housing development 🏡Seventeenth walk bby 🚶♀️ 🐶
Today I set out with my Mum and dog for a walk, we escaped the rain 🌧️ for an hour thankfully. We walked and talked like last week which was so nice to catch up on the week together xSixteenth walk 🚶♀️ 19.10.24
Today walk was very cute, loads of Halloween decorations are on display. I enjoyed seeing what everyone had put out. Also, the amount of people who don’t close their blinds/ curtains 😮 I could see into so many family homes!Fifteenth walk 🚶♀️ 18.10.24
Today was a slow day, first week of my new job completed ✔️ I am shattered but always able to do a little stroll. Did a week’s shopping at Tesco so this was my little activity for today. Some days you don’t need to push yourself!Fourteenth walk(s) 🚶♀️ 17.10.24
Today I set myself a task to complete 5km before 6pm and I smashed it ✔️ I did two main walks today covering 6k. One was at lunch time with my Mum and Cooper and the second was after work, a brisk walk around BBH xo 🐶 fun fact about me: I’m scared of dogs so I’m only happy walking cooper on the road to keep him safe hehe 😇 xThirteenth walk 🚶♀️ 🪵 🌳 16.10.24
First day working from home and boy was it nice to venture out in the warmth - it was 18 degrees?!?! 🌞 what in the Caribbean is going on in UK... I did a lunch time walk and a post work walk to boost those kilometres! These walks are getting easier and I do love being out n about #naturegirl xo 🍃Twelfth walk 🚶♀️ 15.10.24
Second day in my new job and I literally nearly covered by 5km by meeting the new team and finding my way around the new office! 🏢 go meeee! 🗣️ 👣Eleventh walk 🐶 13.10.24
Today’s walk was fresh and sunny 😎 I took my Mum and dog around another area of Horsham. It felt like a wholesome Sunday stroll. These walks are so good for reflecting and opening up/starting conversations and getting things off your mind. I start a new job tomorrow and I feel ready…. Nervous but excited. Wish me luck 🍀Tenth walk today 🐶 12.10.24
Today I was feeling ready to tick off some more km. of course Charlie came with meeee 😇 we started in bbh and walked all over Horsham, picked up my Mum and dog 🐶 and walked all around the houses. As always, we got caught in the rain but we were prepared ☝🏼 this time and wore out raincoats. This was a challenge this 10km walk, 8km in I needed a few shoves forward 😂 wooohooo feeling good now!Ninth walk 🚶♀️ 10.10.24
Today’s walk was again split during my lunch break and an after dinner walk 🚶♀️complete my 5k by 20:40 tonight. Took me a little longer to complete my kilometres as I had to psych myself up to get outride in the cold 🥶 felt like a snowman ⛄️…..of course, my supportive bf Charlie came on my evening walk and cheered us on! Can always count on him 🫡❤️ xEighth walk 🚶♀️ 9.10.24
Today’s walk was a challenge to fit into my day. Only having a 30min lunch and working til 6pm left me with little energy 🪫 to clock those steps up. I purposely parked my car further away from work to get my steps in! Not just a pretty face…… big 🧠 in there xoSeventh walking day 8.10.24
Today felt tender on my buttocks 🍑 so I had to break up my walking pattern and instead of walking in one go - I did three lots of walks and spread of out during the day! Again, trying to avoid the rain ☔️Sixth walk 7.10.24
Today’s walk was wet and windy, but it didn’t bring me down 🌧️ I actually enjoy wandering the streets lol. I always use my time when walking to think about things on a deeper level. If there’s anything on my mind, it gives me a chance to gather my thoughts. My bf joined me again (he’s clocked up many brownie points now) on this walk. His pace is faster than mine so my little legs were hurrying along 💨Fifth walk around BBH 6.10.24
Today me and my bf walked all around BBH. We just missed the rain 🌧️ we started from home and walked all over BBH (our hometown) - we set a goal of 7km today and just continued to follow our nose. We made a pit stop off to grab a snack but kept them legs moving 🚶♀️ the whole way. It’s getting slightly easier now but it’s my butt that’s killing me! XFourth walk - first 10k ✔️ 4.10.23
Today I set out on a walk around Horsham, I started in BBH and walked through the town and into Horsham Cricket Club 🏏 saw no action but I did have a wasp land on my plait so I begged a stranger to help me lol. Very successful walk, it was lovely in the sunshine. I even wore fundraising tshirt to promote the charity 🩵Third walk 3.10.24
Todays walk was spent at a birthday brunch at Cote and wandering the Horsham town shopping centre with a gal pal 🛍️Second walk 2.10.24
Today’s walk was around Guildord, Zara 🛍️ lol. Charlie LOVED it 😬 ….. did he? Not sure. But I did. It was great. I got two new tops and smelt some new perfume. We escaped the rain luckily, kept up our pace 🌧️ lovely day out xFirst walk 1.10.24
Wowza 5k walked at the spa for the bday gyalllll. Charlie and I looked incredibly odd walking around the complex aimlessly wandering, but who cares 🤪 first 5k done ✔️ big tick. Onwards and upwards for this amazing cause!I’m walking 150K in October for GOSH Charity!
I’m challenging myself to walk 150 kilometres this October to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).
Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.
And with every kilometre I walk, I’ll be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.
This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
