Wonderland Walk 2025

Over 15 miles Walk for great ormond street

The hospital cared for both my Daughters

OUR STORY

Doing a fundraiser in December, walking 25km ( over 15 miles) for gosh (great olmond street) as they are close to my heart ❤️

They saved shannaghs life, with the medical intervention and care given, when she was 6 weeks old, she was blue lighted there, 23 years ago, with broncho-pneumonia and a collapsed lung , she had already been resuscitated at lister, she's a warrior.

Evie has been under them since age 1 for her low blood sugars, ketotic hypoglycemia , after going unconscious (happened on several occasions) she hasn't got the back up sugars we have they don't kick in another warrior, She was tested for 24 hrs and diagnosed there and still goes there for check ups once a year and has emergency medication ❤️ ( as she's got older, I have to give when she poorly, I overly panic when she gets ill 🤧)

I want to give them something back , for what they have done for my daughters , please support the best hospital for children there is 💜 The challenge is on and is a lot of walking 😂 please donate as little a pound every little will help them , thanks for reading our story xx (feel free to share)

I’m walking 25km in December for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to walk 25km this December to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).

Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.

That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

And with every kilometre I clock up, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
