8 km challenge completed today.
I mile =2.6km swam today,final total is 8.6 kms.
I will continue to swim in the hope I can raise more than £725 i have already raised for this great cause.

3rd swim

100 lengths completed today = 2.5 kms. 
Well on my way to complete the 8kms this week.

Swim 8k for October

Hi all, I am swimming 8K in October to raise money for GOSH, a charity which is very close to our hearts. I am completing this swim in honour of my Grandson Bailey, who was born with a rare Kidney and Bladder condition which GOSH specialise in. Any money raised will go towards important research for rare genetic diseases which impact families everyday. Please sponsor me for a good cause, and help me achieve my goal.

I’m swimming 8km in October for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to swim 8km this October to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).

Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.

That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

And with every kilometre I swim, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.

Good Luck which I’m sure you won’t need as you will be thinking of your Precious Grandson. We love our Children with all our heart but we Love our babies baby just that bit more was told and I do believe it’s true having a Grandson too , we will go to the ends of the earth for them, but in your case Swimming to support the hospital your Grandson is under.
