100 Push-Ups a Day in October

Catch up..and then some!

Sooo took a few days break which led to me having to catch up a horrific 560 reps!

So in the last 48 hours I completed 1000 pressups...25 at a time!

So at the time of posting I am nearly 400 reps over where I should be right now.

I am going to try and finish really strong to thank all of you who have donated.

Over half way...Just 1500 to go!

So I won't lie, had a slip which meant having to do 299 in one day. Not fun or something I want to be repeating again any time soon!

The measurements revealed what I suspected...that if I kept on with a terrible diet the "chub chub" wouldn't be going away! But the press ups are less painful so I will take that small victory!

Thank you to everyone who has been able to donate! Really appreciate your support for a good cause.

The struggle is real!

I have been plagued by some sort of cough/cold/illness which has sapped me of energy and has been leaving me sweaty after doing the washing up!
Needless to say it's made the press ups that bit tougher.
But the kids who receive care from GOSH have to suffer much worse...so onwards and upwards!

Day 1 Done!

Well it took some muttering to myself but the first day and first 100 is done! Only 3000 to go!

Fat to Fit?

Anyone who has seen me post knee blowout will know I have been packing some timber onto the rafters!

A bit of limited mobility and a little of the mental vicious circle caused by lack of mobility!

Little Man doesn't even remember me not being a "chub chub" as he affectionately refers to me.

Trying to raise some funds for a very good cause and use the exercise as my spring board back into a healthy body so I can lead by example.

Even if you just like the idea of knowing I will be suffering alot and in alot of pain is enough reason for you to donate. That's fine by me!

I’m doing 100 push-ups a day in October for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to do 100 push-ups a day this October to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at GOSH from all over the UK for life-changing treatment and care. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.

And with every push-up I do, I’ll be helping GOSH Charity give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, so please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
