My target 100 kms

I’m running 100km in September for GOSH Charity!

I’m challenging myself to run 100km this September to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity). Please help me to achieve my goal of £225 by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.

Run 18

And here we are my final run!!! Managed a 7.5km in one go this morning and it felt so good to have completed this challenge! Looking forward to resting the legs for a week

Run 17

And here's the 4.5km! Very good pace and probably would have got a new fastest 5km had I been running that distance

Run 16

Split a 7.5km into a 3km and a 4.5km today due to timing! Here's the 3km

Run 15

Heading into the last few runs and feeling strong!

Run 14

Good pace 5km!

Run 13

Another 10km, a little slower this time legs are beginning to feel sore!

Run 12

Went for a 10km today, was tiring but very happy with my pace and time!

Run 11

Knee still feeling slightly sore but managing to increase my pace again!

Run 10

Half way!!!

Run 9

Had to slow the pace down for this run as beginning to feel a slight twinge in my knee, nothing too serious though!

Run 8

Big increase in speed again, also forgot to pause the timer so my actual time was closer to 23:30!

Run 7

Have changed my target time for the end of the month to be sub 23 minutes!

Run 6

Keeping good pace!

Run 5

Got a great time on this run, almost meeting my target of 23:30 with a 23:38

Run 4

Managing to keep a consistent pace, have decided my target pace by the end of the month will be to get to 23:30

Run 3

Keeping up a good pace!

Run 2

Very wet conditions today, managed to improve my time despite the monsoon!

Run 1

Started off well with a good pace 5k! The route I am doing is around my local park and involves one shorter lap followed by two longer ones

About GOSH Charity

Childhood is special. It should be a time of joy, wonder, curiosity and fun. Of making friends, making mistakes, and growing into the adults we become. But it’s also fragile, and sometimes all too brief.

That’s why Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity raises funds to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

And with every kilometre I run, and every pound raised, we’ll be helping to give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Please help me to achieve my goal by giving whatever you can; no amount is too small to make a difference.
