We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day, for children with rare or complex diseases everywhere, for this generation and all those to come. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to serious illness.
Together with supporters and fundraisers like you, we fund groundbreaking research, cutting-edge medical equipment, and the building and refurbishment of childcentred facilities. And we fund essential support like in-hospital play teams, music therapy, art and entertainment programmes, free home-from-home accommodation for families near the hospital and a multifaith chaplaincy.
Together, we help Great Ormond Street Hospital go above and beyond for seriously ill children, enabling kinder and better treatments, bringing hope for children with the rarest and most complex illnesses, and making hospital a little bit easier and a lot more fun for the thousands of children who are treated here every year. While the NHS funds the day-to-day running, Great Ormond Street Hospital has always depended on charitable support to make it extraordinary.
