Let’s beat cancer
for more children

We need you on the team for a big job – building a new state-of-the-art Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

We want to build expert support and new hope around families going through some of their hardest moments. Together, we’ll help offer new hope, and a better future for children’s cancer care.

The blueprints for better

The Children’s Cancer Centre will be a place where world-leading medical teams have the latest equipment and tech to help them deliver the best care.

With top-of-the-range operating theatres, a built-in pharmacy to make vital meds and a special feeds unit for children who often can’t eat or drink by mouth.

A place where clinical and research teams can work side-by-side in the search for bigger breakthroughs and better treatments.

Innovative spaces will bring together gardens with flowers, bugs and room to breathe, and bright, breezy school and therapy spaces so learning and movement don’t have to stop when treatment starts.

Bedrooms will have space for a family meal and for video calling grandparents or friends.

In those moments when families might feel caught in a medical whirlwind, we want them to feel at home instead – and supported to laugh when they can, and cry when they need to.

We’re dreaming big . . .

A build this ambitious takes a lot – and it takes all of us dreaming and working together.

Behind every brick is a dedicated construction team, a team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and other experts helping to plan a centre truly designed around children’s needs – and you.

Because we can’t do it without you.
