We did it
Another great climb - we both went for it, legs burning and lungs bursting far too early on, but we beat our times - I was 7:22 (26 seconds faster) and Clive was 7:45 (68 seconds faster). Ranking 24th and 34th of 363 runners.
The Goal - 7mins 48 to beat
Third time doing this, lets see how much I can improve my time
I’m stepping up for seriously ill kids
I'll be climbing 36 floors and 896 steps up London's iconic Walkie Talkie building on Saturday 28 March 2026 to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
No childhood should be cut short by cancer.
Research and treatments have dramatically improved survival, but cancer is still the biggest killer of children aged one to 14 in the UK.
GOSH needs a new home for breakthrough treatments, so we can save more children’s lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden and so much more.
