Prepping for the climb
Kiran and I are really looking forward to this challenge. It coincidentally falls so near to Mother’s Day too. We hope to raise and reach our funding raising amount for GOSH. Children by nature, are meant to be well so when an illness, particularly a serious one strikes, it can be devastating for the child and their family. I am glad we can help in some small way.
I’m stepping up for seriously ill kids
I'll be climbing 36 floors and 896 steps up London's iconic Walkie Talkie building on Saturday 28 March 2026 to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
No childhood should be cut short by cancer.
Research and treatments have dramatically improved survival, but cancer is still the biggest killer of children aged one to 14 in the UK.
GOSH needs a new home for breakthrough treatments, so we can save more children’s lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden and so much more.
