Becoming a parent is an eye-opener. No longer can I only think about myself. Now my attention has to be on the wellbeing of another boy and/or girl. In my case, none of my children have experienced any complications and I consider myself very lucky to be in this situation. However I also know that this might not be the reality for many parents and children out there.
James and I are therefore taking part in GOSH Charity’s family festival and fun run, RBC Race for the Kids, to raise funds to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
The funds raised from RBC Race for the Kids will help build a world-class facility with children at its heart.
